I have been riding a road bike for three years and thought some running cross training would make me a stronger rider. Four years of running now and only some bicycling.
Warm day 70 degrees with full sunshine. felt strong the first half, but got behind on fluids and had a queazy stomach. So second have had lots of walking and slow running. I did finish and enjoyed the great volunteers and crowd that cheered me on.
